I’ll Be Back

I’m sure it comes as a surprise to absolutely no one but I’ve been neglecting this blog.

When the pandemic started I decided that I would try and get as much content as I could out on my blog and YouTube channel but I did neither of those things. I wanted to, I was bored and shielding but instead of writing about what I was doing, watching or reading I did other things.

I started doing jigsaw puzzles, I’ve done some photography, I’ve read (not as much as I’d like to), I’ve moved around some decor in my room, I’ve finally got rid of old books and dvds that I won’t read or watch again, I’ve started two new instagrams (one is for books, I started that yesterday, the other is for Harry Potter), I’ve started a Redbubble shop for my lettering and art, I’ve watched theatre productions from the comfort of my bed (though I’d rather be in an actual theatre), I’ve started a TikTok and I’m not too bad at it, I’ve decorated my bedroom for Halloween, I’ve had socially distant meetings with two friend (and a baby!), I’ve even turned 21, which sucks because I’d much rather have spent my 21st in New York or London.

That’s pretty much it though. I had so many creative ideas for my blog and YouTube but not enough drive to actually create the content. I finally got round to filming footage for a room tour (call 2014 YouTube, I’m ready for my spotlight) this week but I had to film it multiple times and I’m not even sure why. At some point I’ll edit it but probably not today.

What I will do today though is attend Adobe MAX. I’ve got a few sessions scheduled in hopes of learning something new about photo/video and to also gain inspiration. I’m hopeful that this will give me the boost that I need to start creating content again.

If you have any ideas and/or requests for things you’d like to see on any of my platforms please let me know!

Au revoir,

Shannon x
